S. Salvatore Libor Kubeš (CZ)
This self-taught actor, acrobat and versatile artist began as an actor and swordsman in the groups Krumlovští Petrovští and Merlet. As a swordsman, he has made guest appearances with the National Theatre and the Vinohrady Theatre, and he has also worked under the director Václav Martinec.
He works as a puppeteer, stilt walker, musician, clown and acrobat, combining circus and theatrical forms.
He specialized in techniques of aerial acrobatics mainly on tissu but also on vertical rope, straps and other original materials.
He goes deeper into his practice in Germany, England, France and Czech Republic (Die Etage-Berlin, Jana Korb, Véronique Gougat-Cie Ascendances, Samuel Jornot-ACAPA...).
His activities as an actor and acrobat have included participation in the making of several films, including Joan of Arc and Van Helsing.
In 1999 he was invited to collaborate with the theatrical ensemble Divadlo Continuo, first on a production of Cirkus Vitae. From that moment he became a full member of Divadlo Continuo and participated in all of its productions : performances (Cirkus Vitae, Legend of Prince Philippe, Mrakavy, Before your dreams, Traffic Jam, Život v Peři, Cirkus Distown, Zatměni), special projects and sites specific, work-shops and the annual international project Kratochvílení.
With Seiline Vallée he created a poetic and acrobatic duo in the auctorial production The Flow of Time.
Together with S. Vallée he founded the theatrical ensemble Décalages - theatre in movement. From 2007 the ensemble has created five performances (Posedlost, TaBALADA, Bez Země, Na Větvi!, Velvet Blues) and plays through Europe.
Recently he starred in the show "Emilie" with Cirkus Mlejn, in the musical "Quasimodo" for Hybernia Theatre of Prague and in the Cabaret Show "Lidoskop".
He also gives work-shops "Initiation of the air acrobatics" for adults and children (Décalages, Cirqueon-Center for new circus...).
