"Seiline Vallée and Salvi Salvatore wander through theatrical Europe with success.
Seiline Vallée and Salvi Salvatore belong to the absolute pick in productions, which are known as "new circus technique". Acrobatic toil is combining with the story in their work - and that's of course a touch of theatre. TaBALADA is a story about discovering and validation of human relationship on the road to loneliness as well as hope.
Both artists are flying high above the heads of spectators, they are wraping - their favorite "tools" are cloth, tissus or a circle. The view is getting miniaturized for a while and it turns into puppets or lyrical nudity.
Seiline Vallée and Salvi Salvatore don't belong to those artists who have to promote on television. That is not detriment of their own, but it confirms the occasional television editorial blindness. Their artistic skill is unpretentious but on the other side it is bewitching. Say straight - a theatrical poetry.
They travel through Europe and spend time in France. When they come back to Czech and you meet them on squares and sandlots, remember : TaBALADA worths a stop. "

«The acting, visual and musical components are equal partners creating a fluid form, leading us to internalized turns of thought, associations, adventurous sailing to the unsure borders of the conscious self and the dark depths of the subconscious.
Seldom have I ever experienced such a concentrated and perceptive atmosphere in the audience. It seems that the work, played with maximum concentration by artists who are in a sense "attuned and in tune" (meaning both those stage and the hidden muses of the lighting and sound). It simply cannot fail to reach anyone, to ignite the memory and the childlike admiration of even a single spectator. That spectator that I heard sighing in deep satisfaction just before the hurricane of applause. »
Jiří Pírko Šmirk, newsletter of the theatrical festival Divadelní Flóra Olomouc
«The Posedlost performance tangibly reflects its epoch. It intercepts present and depicts it on the totally abstract base of the scenographical externalization. The usage of long lines of ropes overhung from the ceiling creates the space without delimitation the time. It opens the door to the super temporal tendencies and - moreover - the orientation of both actors in the New theatre forms supports these efforts. »
Zuzana Smugalová, Festivalový denník Tempus Art 2007
The flow of time
«The Flow of Time answers none of the questions that we ask ourselves in slight variations throughout our lives. It just shows that dreams can be stronger than time, pain and loneliness and that it is a shame just to keep yourself on the ground all the time.»
Martina Kinská, daily newspaper Lidové Noviny
«...The actors in The Flow of Time created their own world, combining reality with fantasy and discovering the existential dimension of theatre. They are able to soar to the skies and look into the grave, to hover at the ceiling and to sit in sadness on the stage. They can dream of eternity and know of death. Theatre and creation of this kind is always worthwhile. »
Vladimír Hulec, Time IN
«The performances of Seiline Vallée and Salvi Salvatore represent a unique expression in this country in the category of the so-called "new circus" but exceeding most foreign examples. Both actors perform aerial acrobatics on drapes of fabric with singular lightness...»
